Notice of vacancy in the office of councillor for Sacriston
Welcome to Sacriston Parish in the County of Durham. The origins of Sacriston date back to the 13th Century when it was called Sacriston's Heugh. It comprised of a combined farm and manor house which was the residence of a monk who held the office of Sacristan of the Parish monastery at Durham Cathedral. In January 2017 Sacriston had a population of around 6000.
